Greatness in Serving God
Fr Neufville Bishop Neufville it is a shock to hear of your passing. I am sure my parents (Arnu and Joye Diggs) are more devastated. I had the honor serving with you at St. Martins on the Mount Espicopal Church Yekepa and at the Cathedral in Monrovia. Thank you for your spiritual guidance. My heart goes out to Mother and children. Believe me I know how it feels to lose a love one. There is nothing much I can say at this time to console you because it is painful. Rest in peace Fr Neufville Rest in peace Bishop Neufville. I will always remember one of your favorite hymn entitle "To be a Pilgrim"
He who would valiant be ’gainst all disaster Close
Let him in constancy follow the Master.
There’s no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent to be a pilgrim.
Who so beset him round with dismal stories
Do but themselves confound - his strength the more is.
No foes shall stay his might; though he with giants fight
He will make good his right to be a pilgrim.
Since Lord Thou dost defend us with Thy Spirit
We know we at the end shall life inherit.
Then fancies flee away! I’ll fear not what men say
I’ll labor night and day to be a pilgrim.
