|LAMCO Reunion Online announce death
THE LAMCO COMMUNITY with profound sorrow announces the home-going of two prominent members of our LAMCO FAMILY:
BISHOP EDWARD W. NEUFVILLE II. father grandfather brother uncle in-law mentor to many former bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Liberia sad event occurred on the early morning of Monday Januari 10 2011 at the Medical University of South Carolina Charleston SC. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mrs. Louise Neufville; his four children Puode Neufville Nmano Edwina Neufville Ade Neufville-Adeleke and Edward Wea Neufville III among several other relatives and friends in the US Liberia and other parts of the world.
The Late Rt. Rev. and his family lived in Lamco Yekepa - Area B where in the 70's he was pastor of St. Martin on the Mt. Episcopal Church. He also taught the Bible at several Lamco Schools then moved to Monrovia took assignment as bishop succeeding Bishop George Brown through the late 80's & 90's and later during the civil war migrated between the US and Liberia.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday Januari 27 2011 at 3:00 pm The Cathedral of St. Luke & St. Paul 126 Coming Street Charleston SC 29403. Note: Visitation will be held prior to the service from noon until 2:30 pm at the same Cathedral.
Bishop Neufville will be missed by many! Our prayers go out to his family during their time of grief. Mei his soul rest in solace and may light perpetual shine on him.
